Hi, Weardale Property Agency sold my property in Wolsingham in late 2025. The service they provided was excellent, the information and photographs were honest and accurate, viewings were arranged at buyers convenience, they negotiated an offer and followed up on some issues identified in the buyers survey report they kept in touch with both sets of Solicitors up until completion and hand over of the keys. Best personable agents I have had the pleasure of dealing with! We were coming up to a year and a half of searching for a house and in that time, we had dealt with so many agents across the North East, too many to count and several we vowed never to deal with again due to misinformation, lack of communication and treating us like we didn't matter because we weren't sellers, just buyers. Just as we were giving up, we found our dream house with Weardale and they were the complete opposite of everything we experienced. They were knowledgeable, lovely to speak to, the communication was consistent and queries were answered quickly. Any time we spoke, whether that was Gary or Rachel, they knew the stage we were at and the next steps. Although it became quite stressful towards the end, the reassuring phone calls and the work both Gary and Rachel did with our solicitors helped massively and if we were ever in a position to move, we'd use Weardale without hesitation. I purchased my new home from Weardale Property Agency  on 10/09/2025. My experience with them was absolutely amazing from my very first phone call. I spoke to Rachel first, who quickly arranged a viewing and also met me at the property. On my viewing day Rachel was very professional, i was running a little late and she phoned to see if i was alright as I was driving from Manchester, she was very understanding. Rachel is absolutely lovely, very welcoming, friendly and made me feel at ease. Rachel showed me round the property at first, she was able to answer all my questions about the house and also the surrounding area. Rachel's information was fantastic even telling me i could arrange Tesco or Asda deliveries as the house is in the middle of nowhere. I was then allowed to view the property on my own and even take pictures and video for my husband to see. I was never made to feel rushed at looking at the house, i could take my time. My viewing was extremely enjoyable from start to finish. The following day was a Saturday, I phoned and spoke to Gary who again was extremely lovely and professional. I put an offer in on the property. Gary went went above and beyond to keep me informed of any progress that day, even though the agency closed at 12.30pm. Later in the afternoon Gary rang me to say my offer had been accepted. Rachel and Gary have made the whole process of purchasing our new home so easy. We have been kept informed of everything every step of the way. We met Gary in person when we picked up our keys. An absolutely lovely gentleman, he wished us good luck and told us to ring if we had any problems. We would recommend buying a new property from Weardale Property Agency,  they are professional from start to finish  and go out of their way to do what they can. They actually become friends by the end of the process. If we ever decide to sell our new home, we will definitely be putting it on sale with Weardale Property Agency. We were buying a property from Weardale Property Agency. So in theory they were acting on behalf of the seller but the service we received from them was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. When they said they would call you back, they always did, even if just to say they were awaiting further information. This was always followed up when the information became available. If we do move again, we will be giving them a call first. They are a very modern estate agent with little touches such as a personal WhatsApp group, where I was able to receive regular updates and ask questions whilst receiving prompt responses. We are very pleased we chose the Weardale Property Agency to market and sell Polly's Cottage, Westgate. After 55 years it was a huge wrench to move, but WPA were consistently helpful, patient and supportive through the whole process, which, through circumstances and no fault of theirs, ran from June 2024 to January 2025. The property was marketed most effectively with WPA taking much time and trouble over internal and external photographs, supplemented by drone footage. The property sold subject to contract immediately after one open viewing day. The extended timescale between sale subject to contract and completion was initially due to complications from the purchaser side and then latterly from our side as we took time to find a suitable property. We would have no hesitation in recommending WPA as a professional, effective and friendly estate agency, Dan Small and his team have created a business which is a definite asset to the dale. Can’t thank Dan and the team enough. Always in contact, answering messages with any questions we had and keeping us updated with regular calls. On moving day we were delayed due to the previous owner taking longer to move out, this meant we we didn’t start until late in evening and Dan even offered himself to come round and give us a hand. I recently purchased a property through Weardale Property Agency. They were extremely helpful from start to finish. More helpful than the agents I actually used for selling. All the staff are lovely and very friendly, nothing is a bother to them. A big thank you to Gary who put up with my endless phone calls and to Dan for his advice. I have recently purchased a house through Weardale property agency Any interactions I had with them went smoothly. All the staff I encountered were kind, bubbly, helpful and genuinely happy for us getting our property. On the day we collected the keys, we were also given a small house warming gift which was a really lovely gesture, it's now taken place on the fireplace of my new home. If you are thinking of selling your house I would highly highly recommend Weardale Property Agency. They were amazing from start to finish. Amazing Service From the owner and staff. So friendly and great customer service. Upon adding my property to the market the pictures/ layout that are displayed are high quality. How do you choose an Estate Agent? There's plenty of them after all..  Weardale Property Agency is not like the rest.  Dan Small really goes above and beyond to make the difference whether you're selling or letting. The attention to detail in the presentation online, listening to what you want, being available outside of the usual office hours, being proactive and perhaps most important actually caring about you as a client. If you are looking for an estate agent who cares and provides a personal service then Dan and the Weardale Property Agency cannot be missed. From arranging photo shoots of the property to catch the sun at the best time of day and offering to come back to make sure we had shots of the house showing it at its best. Dan was endlessly flexible fitting around my work and was always on hand any time I had any queries. It was Dans flexibility that led to my house being sold after only a few days of going on the market. He took a client for two house viewings on the same day without any hesitation and on a Saturday as well! A brilliant estate agent that I would thoroughly recommend!  Fantastic photos of the property, really accurate virtual tour, and super communication from Dan throughout the whole process.  Not like the other estate agents (who don't really seem to care), Dan really goes above and beyond. 5 stars!
